Why the name Ruby Finch? My Granny adored red birds, and I adored my Granny, so this company is named in her honour. I never see a red bird without thinking of her.
Julianne Harvey is an author, innovator, and nurturer in Vancouver, BC. She is the author of six books and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC, a BA from KPU, and a Certificate in Counselling Skills from Vancouver Community College.
Julianne created Ruby Finch Books in 2023 to reach librarians, teacher-librarians, writers, and readers who are as passionate as she is about the deeper, more intangible elements of life, creativity, and writing.
